Our Beginnings:

Destiny Church of Paducah is a non-denominational church ministering to the Paducah, Kentucky area.  It began in the early 1980’s as Hallelujah Fellowship, a non-denominational church under the leadership of Pastor Leland Hayden, a graduate of Rhema Bible Training College.  Over the years the church has met at several different Paducah locations, and finally moved to the current location at 990 Berger Rd, Paducah, KY, as we moved from the 20th century into the 21st. By the end of the decade, the name changed to Destiny Church to reflect what Pastor Hayden felt was a “fresh vision” for the church.  Through the years Destiny Church has seen many lives changed by the power of grace through faith and heard many testimonies of the Lord’s deliverance, healing, provision, protection, and guidance.

Present Day:

Our goal at Destiny Church is to share the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those around us, and to bring deliverance to those who are bound. We want to be an expression of the love of God and the grace of God.  We want to be a body of believers where people can sense the Lord’s presence and feel free to worship Him. We want to be a place where believers can grow and mature spiritually by the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. And we want to be a family, where we share one another’s joys and bear one another’s burdens.  Current Pastor Charles Harp likes to quote from 1 Corinthians 10:17, which says, “For we being many are one bread and one body; for we are all partakers of that one bread.”

Destiny Church is a non denominational church where we believe in all the scripture, all the gifts, and all the promises of God.
